Flower Stamen Necklace WIPs

Behind the Scenes Necklace Making

Sharing with you my work in progress photographs of this delicate women’s necklace design ‘Flower Stamen‘.  I love the contemporary nature of this style with a nod to the height of summer.

First stage is the shaping of the raw copper wire, and assembly of the beads onto the droplets.  Next, attachment of the droplets to the curved frame using a petal detailing in the wire.

Then darkening with the patina solution. Polish to reveal the highlights and then paint with a gloss varnish, hang up to dry.  Attach the findings; jump rings, chain, lobster clasp and extension chain.  Ta da!
