Litha on the Isle of Wight
Early Sunday morning on the 21st June 2020, I went to Lake on the East coast of the Isle of Wight to view the sunrise on the morning after the solstice. I drove in the dark rain and wind to reach the deserted shore for 4.30am. As the sun came over the horizon the rain and haze died off enough to see a beautiful glow that reflected on the sand, before disappearing again for the day. Such a beautiful moment. Studio dog was performing her own sun dance in spite of the early start!
